‘1000-pound sisters’ Tammy Slayton reveals what she ate every day in rehab


Tammy Slayton’s weight has been a huge topic 1000-pound sisters. The reality star and her sister, Amy Slayton, have been working through season two of the TV show to get healthy. Although fans may have started following Amy and Tammy’s health journey over the course of Season 1, Tammy has been on this road for a while. In fact, she was once at a weight loss facility and revealed the diet they had given her.

What did Tammy Slayton eat in rehab?

before this 1000-pound sisters, Tammy keeps her fans updated on her weight loss progress through her YouTube channel. In 2019, she went to a rehab facility to help her get to a healthy weight. While there, she recorded a video of what she ate at the facility throughout the day.

For breakfast in the video, Tammy had a box of Honey Nut Cheerios, fat-free milk, orange juice, coffee, non-dairy creamer, and butter. He also had toast, turkey sausage, and scrambled eggs. For lunch, she ate turkey BLT, potatoes, and tiramisu along with the Pepsi diet.

Tammy also showed the audience the menu the hospital had given her, showing the number of carbs in each item. For dinner that night, Tammy had grilled chicken strips and mashed potatoes.

How Much Weight Did Tammy Lose in Rehab?

At the time of the video, Tammy said she had lost about 20 pounds after being on a rehab diet for two weeks. She revealed that she could barely walk 45 steps at a time before coming to the facility. In rehab, she rose to 150 steps. Through rehab, she even gained the ability to shower herself, although she still needed help getting out.

Tammy continues to struggle with weight 1000-pound sisters. While Amy was able to have weight loss surgery, Tammy is still struggling to lose enough weight for the surgery. In fact, at the end of 1000-pound sisters Season 2, she really gained weight.

“I mean, sometimes I try to eat healthy, and then other days I’m like, ‘What’s the matter? Tammy said during her last Doctor’s visit to Season 2.

Despite her weight gain, her doctor was proud of her for recognizing her problem.

“You could blame [that] You couldn’t get out of bed, you could have been accused that you had COVID and you could have blamed you were in the hospital, and you didn’t,” he said. “And believe it or not, it’s a step further from where you’ve been in the past. So you’ve just made progress, even though you’ve gained weight.”

‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Season 3

Though Tammy has been updating her fans about her life through TikTok, she won’t get any real information about Tammy’s weight gain till then. 1000-pound sisters Season 3 premiere. The show was renewed for Season 3 earlier this year and according to Tammy, it is already being filmed. However, she revealed that fans probably won’t get to see the show until 2022 as filming takes some time.
