The tragic death of a 3-year-old child in Ida County, Iowa, has sparked an investigation by the Ida County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
According to reports, the child was found unresponsive in a home in Holstein, Iowa, on Monday, May 15th, and was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, where the child was later pronounced dead.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the investigation is ongoing, with the Ida County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa DCI asking anyone with information about the child’s death to come forward.
