After winning the Copa America 2021 title, Argentine superstar Lionel Messi is set to sign a new contract with Barcelona. The 34-year-old’s current contract with Blagrana expired at the end of last month, prompting much speculation about his future.

However, these players have at times overshadowed the talent of Lionel Messi. The six-time La Liga Best Player winner is undoubtedly Barcelona’s mainstay. Barcelona’s attacks usually revolve around the Argentine forward, which has prompted the club to buy players who help bring out the best from Messi.
