6 people accused of stealing $ 15K Cologne at Ulta Beauty Store


Six people have been arrested and charged with stealing nearly $ 15,000 worth of cologne from an ultra beauty shop in Chicago’s Oak Brook neighborhood.

According to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, four adults have been identified as Peach Johnson, 29, Kamal Hoskins, 25, Roy Crane, 21 and Darnell Proffitt, 19, who face one count of theft and one count of retail theft, while two juveniles have also been charged with incident-related offenses.

Fox 32 Chicago The male suspect reportedly rushed to the store and cleared the shelves of 153 Cologne bottles. He stuffed the goods into trash bags. On Friday, Oak Brook police were alerted that a suspect’s escape car was involved in a crime in front of the Ulta Beauty Store. As the officers arrived, the suspects fled the scene.

Four adults appeared before a judge on Saturday. Johnson’s bond was set at $ 175,000, while Crane, Hoskins and Benefit Bond were $ 100,000.

The two juveniles went to trial Sunday morning, but adult suspects are expected to appear in court next Dec. 13.
