A Florida man allegedly threw a Christmas tree at his wife during an argument over her asking him to help her make dinner.
Richard Atchison, 52, “lost his temper” Monday night at their Fruitland Park home after his wife called for help, put a spoon in the sink and accidentally splashed him with water. FOX 35 Orlando.
Atchison packed his things and got into his car before driving home because he had been “drinking” and told his wife to leave.

When the woman tried to leave, deputies said Atchison pushed her and picked up a tree in the corner of the room and threw it at her. After that, he blocked the front door to prevent him from leaving.

A Florida man is accused of throwing a Christmas tree at his wife.
Atchison was booked on a charge of domestic battery and taken to the Lake County Jail without incident.
