A left-wing group released a “Don’t Run, Joe” ad opposing Biden’s re-election bid

A left-wing progressive group is calling for President Biden to step down after his first term in office, airing an ad outlining why they think he should not run for re-election.

The RootsAction ad airs in New Hampshire and shows a variety of reasons why local voters should choose Democrats for the 2024 presidential election. Many expressed concern about Biden’s election.

“It’s very important that we don’t let a Republican win the White House in 2024,” said one woman, who claimed his low popularity was “too much of a gamble.”

“If he runs, the election is in serious jeopardy,” said another person.

“We can’t afford to risk the White House on a Republican who can defeat Status Quo Joe,” said another.

Others say Biden doesn’t effectively represent their progressive agenda.

“There is no doubt that we have a climate emergency. It’s a question of willingness to do something about the problem,” one person said.

“This is no time for half measures. All Americans need universal health care now,” said another.

BIDEN QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS OLD AGE: ‘YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW HOW OLD I AM?’

“There is no room for compromise when our abortion rights are at stake,” added the female voter.

The ad ends with each of them chanting a common slogan: “Don’t run, Joe.”

Biden and the White House have repeatedly said the 80-year-old commander-in-chief intends to run in 2024, but the president has said he won’t officially announce a decision until early 2023.
