A mountain lion went to a house in California and dragged a dog out: video

A Sonoma County, California woman has shared video of a mountain lion standing over her dog in her backyard after she said the predator broke into her home last month and dragged her puppy by the scruff of the neck.

Rebecca Kraker of Bennett Valley said FOX2 KTVU on Tuesday when he went to check on his border lake after hearing Sherman yelling and screaming.

Cracker said he was surprised to find a mountain lion at home with Sherman’s neck in its jaws.

In the video he shared, the mountain lion can be seen standing in Sherman’s backyard after the big cat dragged the dog outside.

“He was baring his teeth and hissing and he passed out from the shock,” Cracker told the outlet. “I thought he was dead at the time.”

Sherman survived the attack, and Kraker said in a Facebook post that his neighbor arrived and shot at him, scaring off the mountain lion and losing the animal.

According to Kraker, the mountain lion somehow managed to get into his house and dragged his partner, Sherman, out by the scruff of the neck.

A CONNECTICUT mother saved her young daughter from a rabid raccoon attack by throwing the animal into the yard.

However, according to Kraker, the predator returned the next day, this time targeting his two goats.

Fish and Wildlife officials tracked down the mountain lion and euthanized it, Cracker said.
