A Rangers fan couldn’t drink a beer at a Golden Knights game

What a waste of beer.

A Rangers fan failed to win a Michelob Ultra on national television after Wednesday’s 5-1 win over the Golden Knights in New York.

In celebration video obtained by TNT, a male fan wearing a Martin St. Louis jersey threw his beer back on the steps at T-Mobile Arena before it spilled out of his mouth. He then used what was left of the beer to pour over his head.

Despite his impressive performance, the fan continued to celebrate, pumping his fist in the air and shaking his hips.

Meanwhile, Rangers fans sitting nearby can be seen cheering him on.

The fan had nothing on Megan Lackey, who sparked a viral US Open beer scandal last year when she knocked back a beer in her seat. Lucky kept that tradition alive when he returned to this year’s tournament, saying he “seized the moment” and chugged his beer for the cameras.

After New York beat the Golden Knights in Las Vegas on Wednesday, a Rangers fan had a beer-drinking fail on National TV.

The win was the second in a row for Rangers, who had lost five of six before defeating the Blues on Monday. They play the Avalanche in Denver on Friday.
