Following a ‘Triple C’ featherweight title shot request against defending champion Alexander Wolkanovsky, UFC President Dana White has to have a ‘tough conversation’ with Henry Sejudo.
Sejudo wants to make UFC history by becoming the first three-division champion in promotion history, but White does not like the idea of a former flyweight and bantamweight champion, who has collided with Max Holloway and Yar Rodriguez. One contestant at UFC Fight Night 197 on November 13th.

“Listen, he’s retired,” White said of Sejudo, who recently re-entered the USADA drug testing pool following Tuesday night’s Contender Series. “You’re off so long and you want to come back and fight the Volkanovsky and jump the line and Max and all these other guys that came in? It’s a tough conversation.”
Sejudo retired last year, winning his bantamweight title match at UFC 249 against Dominic Cruz. He has since taken everyone from Jake Paul to Amanda Nunes, which is why Volkanovsky cannot be taken seriously as an Olympic gold medalist.
“He’s always chirping. He’s chirping about everybody. Obviously we’ll see what he does, but my bet is not on that. I hope you don’t take him seriously.
