A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Dothan woman in her home in 2020.
22-year-old Ty’Shawn Markis Bryant was taken into custody by US marshals in Georgia on Tuesday.
Moore, 50, was shot dead on Sept. 6, 2020, inside his South Lena Street home. She was not the intended target, police said.
Dothan police announced earlier this month that they were searching for Bryant on a number of charges, including the Little Murder. The warrants were issued to Bryant in late October.
Newnan was arrested without incident. He is awaiting extradition to Alabama.
Two men have already been arrested in connection with the case and awaiting trial: Phillip Barkley Jr., 23, and Donavian McCree, 24, both of Dothan.
Anyone with information about the crimes that Bryant may be involved is asked to call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3632. Tipsters can help prevent crime at 334-793-7000.
