Arsonists attacked the business and set themselves on fire: video


A video has emerged of two suspected arsonists setting themselves on fire during an attack on a business in California, with one of them exclaiming “Ahh!” was heard shouting. while trying to flee the scene.

The incident happened Monday morning at the Servicio de Imigración in Bakersfield. The company provides immigration and naturalization services.

Ring security camera footage begins with two unidentified masked men approaching the business and dousing it with gasoline.

One of the men then bends down to ignite the gasoline, but as he does so, a sudden and swift inferno catches both of them by surprise.

The suspected arsonist can be seen running away with his leg on fire, while the other is seen slipping several times as he tries to escape the flames.

“Ahhh!” one of the individuals can be heard shouting before fleeing into the night, their backs and buttocks seemingly on fire.

Business owner Max Solorzano said the community needs to do more to protect people.

According to 23ABC, the fire was extinguished 10 minutes after first responders arrived.

Business owner Max Solorzano told the station the city of Bakersfield needs to do more to protect local residents.

“They need to work harder on that, on keeping the community safe,” he said. “We’re a small business and we help a lot of people, so there will be people who don’t get our services because of inaction.

“That’s what upsets me the most,” he continued. “We help a lot of farm families with immigration, we help people with their taxes. We ask our customers to be patient with us as we get through this.”

The motive for the attack is unknown, and as of Wednesday, no suspects had been arrested.
