Amid reports of a feud between surviving Migos members Quavo and Offset at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, footage has emerged of Cardi B trying to forcefully break up the night’s fight. While the backstage altercation was not caught on camera, Entertainment Tonight recorded audio of Cardi, who is married to Offset, screaming. “You’re both wrong. It’s not right,” he was heard yelling. “Shut up because you shouldn’t have been talking.” No other voices or reactions were heard in the footage, and when asked Did she “get” anything by a reporter, Cardi quickly interjected: “The only thing I fixed was my dress, honey.”
Before sharing the footage, TMZ reported an alleged altercation between the rappers, Twitter’s response From Offset, who denied it: “What it feels like to fight my brother,” he wrote.
Quavo performed the tribute song “Without You,” which he shared shortly after Takeoff’s death last fall. Gospel group Maverick City Music joined Quavo on stage for the performance, which also featured a mashup of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s lyrics to “See You Again.”
Meanwhile, Cardi was among the lineup for Sunday’s event, where she joined Kendrick Lamar as “Mr. Moral and the Big Steppers.” Cardi won the category in 2019 for her debut film “Invasion of Privacy.”
