Barcelona want Premier League striker to replace Sergio Aguero, looking for £ 5million deal

It has been reported that Barcelona are looking at a move for the Premier League striker as he looks to replace Sergio Aguero after his impending retirement.

He has only played five matches for his new club, which sealed a move in the summer following the expiration of his Manchester City contract.

Barca are on the lookout for a replacement striker before the transfer window reopens in January as Aguero prepares to quit football as a result of his poor diagnosis.

He is set to give Man United about £ 5 million to take him away from England.

Cavani is in his second year at Old Trafford and is a free agent at the end of the season.

After returning to the club, he played second violin to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Paris Saint-Germain man may be dangling from leaving United for Barca, who are willing to give him regular playing time.

Barca are facing stiff competition from Inter Milan, who are believed to be keen to snap the 34-year-old.

Uruguay has only played eight matches in all competitions this season – including five Premier League appearances.

He has scored an impressive 17 goals in all competitions of the past and has set a goal to name this campaign.
