Beyoncé makes Grammy history, breaking all-time win record


Beyonce made history at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

With her win for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for “Renaissance” at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, Beyoncé became the most decorated female musician in the awards show’s history.

She has now won 32 Grammys during her career.

“I’m trying not to get too emotional and I’m just trying to get through the night,” she said during her acceptance speech. “I want to thank God for protecting me. … I want to thank my uncle Johnny, who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit.” She thanked her parents, husband and three children before concluding, “I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre.”
