President Biden has taken what many have seen as his administration’s strangest pride, claiming that “more than half of the women in his administration” are “women.”
Biden celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act with Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Bill Clinton at the White House on Thursday. During the event, Biden praised the legislation for helping women in the workforce while also bragging about the representation of women in his cabinet.
“But what matters here is, more than half of my cabinet is women, more than half of the people, more than half of my administration are women,” Biden said in a video that has now gone viral.
Several Twitter users derided the clip as a funny statement as well as a comment on the administration’s transgender agenda.

“I can only think of a couple that aren’t,” joked Phil Crippen, president of American Commitment.
“What’s interesting here is that there are several ‘women’ in his administration who are definitely not women,” agreed Washington Free Beacon executive editor Brent Scheer.
“How did Biden know they were women? Is he a biologist?” asked Mary Vote, executive director of the Senate Conservatives.
“Seriously. No joke,” Substake writer Jim Treacher shared the video, echoing a common phrase used by Biden.
“Given what Dems now believe about women….this may actually be statistically true…,” Chip Roy strategic adviser Nate Madden tweeted.
Many users also pointed out that the Biden administration has hired several transgender members, including Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levin and non-binary Department of Energy (DOE) Deputy Assistant Secretary Sam Brunton.
Brunton came under fire in December after a police report revealed that a Biden administration official had been accused of stealing items at airports.

Exactly what defines a “woman” was also highlighted in March when Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Katenji Brown Jackson insisted she couldn’t provide a definition of a woman when asked.
“Can I provide a definition? No, I can’t,” Brown-Jackson said. “Not in that context, I’m not a biologist.”

Biden continued to call on America to do more, emphasizing equality for women in the workforce.
“Well, 30 years ago, we were sixth among advanced economies for women’s participation in the workforce. Find out where we rank today? Nineteenth, nineteen. It’s the United States of America, for God’s sake. Women. is 50 percent. Our population, a little over 51%, over 50% of our population. We cannot reach our full economic potential by leaving half the workforce behind,” Biden said.
