Biden’s State of the Union ripped as ‘fundamentally dishonest’: He ‘screamed out randomly’

President Biden’s State of the Union address was described by critics as “fundamentally dishonest” with moments where he would “randomly yell” at topics and political opponents.

On “Hannity,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said as much, saying the official Republican response from Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was a “stark contrast” to Biden’s address.

“[Biden’s] was divisive. It was anger. It was out of touch, and it was fundamentally dishonest,” he said.

“Throughout the speech, Biden would just randomly yell from time to time. He reminded me of a cranky old man on his front porch yelling at kids: ‘Get off my lawn.’

Cruz added that Biden acted with “deliberate dishonesty” throughout the address, failing to acknowledge to voters in 2022 that he elected a divided legislature and an administration overwhelmingly left to govern. Mandate not given.

“The American people are unhappy with the direction of this country. Two-thirds of the American people think we’re on the wrong track. Inflation is out of control, crime is out of control. The southern border is out of control. He acknowledged it all. And said, ‘We’re going to change course,’ he didn’t,” Cruz said.

He pointed out how Biden called on lawmakers to get on board with his plan to secure the border and stop fentanyl smuggling, noting that half the chamber responded to the president’s “political decision” to open borders. Laughed for reason.

“The result is the worst illegal immigration in our nation’s history and the nation’s worst fentanyl overdose crisis, with more than 100,000 overdoses per year. The border.”

Biden also spoke dishonestly about allegedly being ‘tough on China,’ despite many people either being outraged or laughing at the administration’s failure to end Chinese surveillance when Until it crossed several sensitive military base areas and exited over the open Atlantic Ocean.

“And then finally, you also mentioned the lie when he demagogued, ‘Republicans want to take away Social Security and Medicare.’ This is a classic Democrat lie,” Cruz told host Sean Hannity.

“They’re going to throw granny off the cliff again,” he said, referring to a political ad in which a Republican deliberately named former House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis. A likeness was shown, rolling a woman in a wheelchair down a cliff.

During Fox News Channel’s State of the Union panel analysis, senior political analyst Bert Hume said that while Biden “struck an early bipartisan tone” in acknowledging the choice of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. ., third in line for the presidency, to suggest that Republicans want to eliminate Social Security and other entitlements to reduce the debt.

“At one point, he even said, you know, on cutting them, he said, ‘Which apparently nobody is going to propose, but he’s going to veto it.’ It was an interesting moment and I didn’t see it in the finished text,” Hume said.

“So I think he objected to it. It was kind of funny.”

Hume later pointed out that Biden noted American education, highlighting first lady Jill Biden’s role as a teacher, but also the nationwide learning loss he attributed to the coronavirus mitigation restrictions. Did not go away.

“And I think that was almost certainly because his people in his party were very, very excited about COVID,” he said.

“He supported the shutdown. He likes Dr. Fauci. And to do so is clearly to criticize the lockdown and note the damage it seems to have done to children’s education and socialization. “
