Bill Maher roasts “crazy” liberals for not calling for Islamic extremism

Bill Maher blasted those who don’t stand up for free speech on his “Club Random” podcast on Monday, calling other liberals “crazy” and “retarded” for failing to call out Islamic extremism.

Maher had evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins as his guest, where the two criticized the assumption that if you believed that COVID originated in a lab, “you were a Republican.”

“It’s crazy,” Maher said.

Maher and Dawkins discussed the Sundance Film Festival’s decision to pull a Guantanamo Bay documentary.Jihad Rehab“After left-wing groups said they were ‘promoting harmful stereotypes about Islam.’

“We’ve come to a place where you can’t approach a subject, certain subjects, without the crowd coming after you,” Dawkins said.

Maher marveled at his fellow liberals: “Yeah, it’s crazy how backward their thinking is.

“What would you say, liberals, if society decided tomorrow to throw a bag over every woman’s head, like a tarpaulin on a motorboat and liberals do?” If so? Is there news in the newspaper tomorrow?.. You know, “Iran is going to completely cover women”. It’s just, “Oh, you know,” the comedian asked rhetorically.

“Well, they’re afraid of being thought of as racist,” Dawkins replied.

Recently, HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” ended its broadcast by challenging what it described as a widespread LGBTQ “trend” among American youth.

In 2016, Maher had a heated argument with actor Ben Affleck over Islamic extremism. At one point, the host said: “It’s the only religion that acts like the mafia – if you say the wrong thing, paint the wrong picture or write the wrong book, they’ll kill you.”

Affleck responded by calling the host “rude” and “disgusting”.

As for the idea that COVID was created in a lab, Maher said, “This issue should never become political. It’s become hyper-political in this country. If you think the virus started in a lab, you’re somehow a Republican. And if you thought it started with bats in a wet market, you were a liberal.

He concluded: “All men say ‘Science.’ We have knowledge. You don’t know — We know more than we ever did. We just don’t know [know] very much.”

Maher’s podcast, which debuted in March, quickly became a place for him and guests to lament the current state of liberalism. In November, he attacked the “crazy” left because men can get pregnant.

Last week’s podcast went after young environmentalists and told them to “use machines like us!”
