Billie Eilish discusses Britney Spears’ ongoing stereotype battle, calling it “really, really awful”.
Asked by Vogue Australia about the ongoing case, Eilish said she was shocked by Britney’s ongoing legal trouble, and was grateful she always had a supportive team.
“It’s really, really horrible that a lot of young women have gone through — I mean, to this day,” Eilish said.
“I didn’t have a team that wanted to fuck me – which is really rare, which (itself) is very messy,” she said.
“I just have to be grateful that I’ve had a good group of people around me… I just didn’t want to take advantage of me and what people have done in the past.”
Earlier this week, Britney shared a social media post suggesting she has no plans to perform live, while her father, Jamie Spears, remains as her mentor.
She wrote, “For those of you who like to criticize my dancing videos… Look, I’m not going to perform on any stage, my dad, whatever I wear, say, do or think about it. I handle.”
