In a recent interview with The Guardian, Black Lives Matter founder Patrice Cullers said President Joe Biden, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and other officials were cowards for bowing to political pressure and refusing to defend the police.
It was a “failure of leadership” and “profound cowardice” that explained why officials from local government to the president himself were allowing money to go to law enforcement agencies.

Cullers argued that the recent deaths of Tyre Nichols and his cousin Keenan Anderson were “a failure of leadership at the highest level of our president” and particularly disappointing because it was Black Lives Matter (BLM). ) movement helped Biden become president.
