A 7-year-old immigrant girl was smuggled into the border between the US and Mexico on Tuesday, and in the latest case, the children were left on the border.
The Customs and Border Protection says a 7-year-old man from El Salvador was brought by a smuggler on a rope ladder to a 30-foot border wall in the El Centro Zone. Video Shows the child dropping off and moving away from the smuggler.

Agents noticed the traffickers were disturbed and left away, fearing the child might be left, CBP said. After the smuggler returned, the border patrol agents picked up the silt and took it to a nearby refinery.
“No one, other than a child of any age or race, should be endangered when illegally crossing this country,” Chief Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino said in a statement. “Smugglers always look to children as a profit-making commodity, ignoring the safety and well-being of any person other than themselves.”
Border Patrol Release 5 Year Old Migrant Girls Near Wall
Non-companion children are not excluded from Title 42 public health protections and are quickly transferred to the custody of health and human services before being united with sponsors, usually parents or guardians in the country.
This means that smugglers regularly leave small children and keep them away until they are protected by border patrol.
In September, agents rescued two young children abandoned in the Rio Grande River, including a 3-month-old baby in an infant carrier.
In June, the Border Patrol released a video of a 5-year-old immigrant girl wandering alone on the border after being abandoned by a wall.
