Brad Pitt, an Oscar-winning actor and producer, is also a businessman.
After recently selling a 60% stake in his production company Plan B Entertainment for $300 million to French group Mediawan, Pitt is considering taking a step back.
“Brad has decided he wants to live a quiet life in the future and is deciding what ‘semi-retirement’ will look like for him,” a source told Page Six.
“It’s up to him to decide if he can continue acting,” the source said, before warning that Pitt would be giving up on other business ventures.

“Although Brad spent a lot of time on different things [businesses based out of the French estate, Chateau Miraval, he bought with Angelina Jolie]and other interests like architecture, he’s totally committed to his film career,” an additional insider said. “He’s not leaving Hollywood.”
Another source claims a slightly different story about Pitt, telling Page Six: “He’s thinking about leaving Hollywood and moving to France and doing his vineyard and art and making furniture. .. He just wants to live in peace.”
