California GOP gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner called on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for the settlement she paid to “Twitter trolls” that are now being donated to organizations that are fighting Twitter attacks by controversial Georgia Republicans. The latter support gun control.
Jenner’s clap came back after Green called on Republicans to withdraw their support for the transgender reality star and former Olympian — with Green referring to him as “the man in a costume and the ever-trumper.”
“The GOP support and advisers working to elect Jenner to governor in CA are playing a game of left-wing identity politics. A game that sells our faith, family and freedom. Stop promoting this guy in a dress and ever-trumper. CA Patriots worked very hard and deserves better,” Green tweeted on Monday.
Jenner, who launched a long-running bid to oust Democratic Governor Gavin Newson in April, shrugged off the criticism, noting that Greene chose to solve He was prosecuted by the Los Angeles-based political action committee MeadowTouch LLC, paid $10,000 in legal fees and agreed not to block critics from his public Twitter account and other social media platforms in March.
Green tweeted shortly after the settlement that the organization is “bragging about donating money to organizations that want to take away my guns,” which Jenner pushed back on the insults launched against her in her tweet.
Jenner tweeted, “Tough talk on behalf of someone who supports the woke crowd and walks out of court with a Twitter troll.” “Now your money is being used to snatch guns from law-abiding Americans.”
While Greene made anti-trans comments in her tweets and Jenner faced verbal attacks during an appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference over the weekend, conservative media personality Tomi Lahren was quick to voice her support for the former athlete.
“The attacks on @Caitlyn_Jenner are condemnable. I’ll go to bat for him every now and then and if you want to take my ‘conservative’ card for it, take it and push it. Your mob is no better than the Left and in fact, this is ugly,” Lahren tweeted.
