Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War The PC has quietly added support for trigger haptics, a feature on PS5 controllers that adds more reactance and resistance to trigger inputs.
In the recent update of the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarPlayers with a PS5 controller can now enable Trigger Haptics by navigating to the controller settings.
As the setting describes, “the Trigger Haptics controller provides vibration feedback and tension on triggers” and more “response to tactile elements in the game”.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War This month isn’t the first big-name PC title to enable additional DuelSense support. Earlier in July, Ubisoft added similar haptic feedback to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
While more haptic feedback is usually great for singleplayer games, enabling this feature can lead to an outright competitive disadvantage in multiplayer scenarios. as pc gamer Note, this feature makes firing from a gun quite difficult, something that can easily lead to dying in a multiplayer match.
like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and subway getaway (Another PC title with DualSense support enabled), a PS5 controller will need to be physically plugged in for Trigger Haptics to work.
in other Obligation News, Raven Software has announced that more than 50,000 accounts have been banned in Call of Duty: Warzone this week.
During the two sanctions waves, Raven Software confirmed that the bans were “targeting repeat offenders, and more.”
These restrictions follow the removal of a new loadout system that was causing a number of issues, including a bug where players were being given a fully customized loadout at the start of a match and upon returning from the Gulag.
