Chrissy Teigen skips Grammys 2023 after dress fitting for cuddles with baby girl

Chrissy Teigen skipped the 2023 Grammys to spend time with her and John Legend’s newborn daughter Estee.

The model shared a sweet photo with her sleeping baby girl in celebration of “Grammy Day” on Sunday.

Explaining her absence, she wrote, “An outfit fit, looked around and felt… what am I trying to prove here. I can’t get up lol.”

However, the 37-year-old husband is on hand to perform “God Did It” at the awards show.

The 44-year-old legend is also nominated for three awards in the categories of Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

Teigen posted a throwback photo from the 2022 awards show and wrote that she was “cheering” on her partner.

“A year ago,” she wrote on her story. “Love this look!! The body looks a bit slim. [sic] Today is different but worth it.”

Teigen has since clarified that her abortion was a “life-saving abortion.”

With Esty now joining the family, the former “Lip Sync Battle” co-host “couldn’t be happier” and wrote via Instagram last month that the legend “sheds happy tears at night.”
