Colin Kaepernick Still not giving up on his dream of returning to the NFL … when a team finally makes the call he says he’ll still be training 5 AM and 5 or 6 days a week.
Quarterback – who hasn’t played in the league since the start of the 2016 season – revealed in a recent interview Ebony … He explained that he still aims to win the Lombardi Trophy.
“I’m still training at 5 a.m., five, six days a week,” Kaepernick said, “and I’m ready to take the team to the Super Bowl again.”
The 33-year-old last lost to the Seahawks on January 1, 2017 for the 49ers … and has not signed with the team again since.
Cap has repeatedly stated that he believed the league was blackmailing him as he began kneeling in the pregame national anthem.
In fact, the QB Sued the league A few years ago … and the parties settled out of court. The NFL did not publicly admit to blackmailing Colin.
But, in his most recent interview, Kaepernick made it clear that he still believes teams are avoiding him from everything … He hoped his training would “expose” the situation.
“You have to keep denying me and do it in a public way,” Kaepernick said. “And you’re going to expose yourself through that, but it won’t happen because I’m not ready or ready.”
In the meantime, Kaepernick said he’s also focused on other aspects of his life – his production company, charity work … and acting.
Colin explained that he was working with an acting coach and would like to have more on-screen roles in the future — all of which are similar to quarterbacking.
