A bipartisan group of members Congress Served for US troops stationed in South Korea Thanksgiving Meals.

Lawmakers on Thursday spent Thanksgiving meals with South Korean service members and their families living in the country, spending time with them. The same bipartisan lawmakers who arrived in Taiwan on Thursday evening continued their tour despite Chinese warnings.

The bipartisan delegation consisted of veteran members of Congress who threw football with service members and their families.

“Happy Thanksgiving from South Korea – Enjoying serving our troops today !!” Representative Nancy Mays, RSC, tweeted Thursday. “Many of our soldiers have not been able to visit home or visit their families since COVID began. It is incredibly important to give a heartfelt thank you to our men and women in uniform.”

She was the first woman to graduate from the Mays Corps of Cadets and chair the Tacano House Veterans Affairs Committee.

After lawmakers finished their stay in South Korea, they moved to Taiwan, despite the Chinese warning.

President Biden thanked the troops in his presidential Thanksgiving announcement and traveled with First Lady Jill Biden to the Coast Guard Station Brant Point in Nantucket, Massachusetts, to meet with service members stationed there.

The Biden family is staying at the Nantucket home of Carlyle Group co-founder billionaire David Rubenstein to celebrate the holiday.

Reporters attending the event shouted many questions over the president’s departure, but Biden answered only the question of why he was thankful for the holiday.

“What am I thankful for?” The President responded. “I’m thankful for these guys. That means from the bottom of my heart.”

“Wherever they are, people wonder what America is and they look at them,” Biden continued. “They don’t see what’s here, they see.”
