President Biden is scheduled to deliver his State of the Union address on Tuesday, in which he is expected to highlight the accomplishments of his administration and paint a positive picture of the country. However, conservatives took to social media to share their thoughts on how the United States is currently faring under Biden.
Conservatives point to the border crisis, high crime, the economy and the recent Chinese spy balloon traveling around the country as examples of Biden’s failed leadership.
“The State of the Union = getting worse,” Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., tweeted.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tweeted “Biden will present an imaginary state of the union tonight. He will try to convince us that the border is under control, we are economically sound, inflation is gone, Fentanyl not killing people, schools. Working, Chinese communist balloon handled brilliantly, and more.”
Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-NY, mocked Biden for his handling of the Chinese spy balloon incident.
“Joe Biden is about to blow enough hot air at the State of the Union to burst another Chinese spy balloon,” he tweeted.

Miranda Devine, a New York Post opinion columnist and author of the best-selling book “Laptop from Hell,” blasted White for trying to connect the attack on one of Biden’s guests, Paul Pelosi, to the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Criticized House.
“This is breathtaking dishonesty on the part of Dr. Flotius. The man who attacked Paul Pelosi was a far-left activist who lived in a hippie gathering decorated with BLM and LGBTQ banners. Someone from the 2021 riots at the Capitol. Not related. Joe Biden’s #preview. SOTU gaslighting attempt tonight,” he tweeted.
Ryan Fournier, founder of Students for Trump, mocked Biden’s “Build Back Better” slogan.
“2 years after Biden: nothing built, nothing back, nothing better,” he tweeted.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., criticized the Biden administration’s foreign policy in Ukraine as a result of his failure to secure the southern border.
“What you won’t hear from Joe Biden tonight on #sotu2023 – is that his Ukrainian nation-building has collapsed. And while Biden is writing blank checks to Kyiv, our border is a playground for terrorists and smugglers. The field is there and China is running on it. On us,” Hawley tweeted.
Biden is set to deliver his remarks in the Capitol amid high inflation, recession fears, turmoil overseas, and polling that pits former President Donald Trump against both former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical 2024 matchup. I leave behind.
