DaBaby has opened up about the moment she found out Beyoncé was a fan of her music.
talking to complex, DaBaby recalled the moment she met Beyoncé at Diddy’s house and revealed how much she was a fan of his music.
DaBaby said: “I remember when Beyoncé came up to me in Diddy’s crib and told me she was a fan of my music. Told me she liked what I was doing. That was dope.
“I’m like, ‘Okay, this Beyoncé, do you get what I’m saying?’ Didi too, that too was dope, he reached to me… when he reaches to me he keeps me to himself.
In the same interview DaBaby also revealed that his new album is coming soon. “Another single from the album,” he said, “definitely a new album on the way!”
Back in June DaBaby shared a new song and video called “Red Light Green Light,” which she later performed live for the first time at this year’s BET Awards.
It came from the North Carolina rapper’s other recent single, ‘Ball If I Want To’.
So far this year, he has shared January’s “Masterpiece” with remixes of Polo G’s “Party Life”, Justin Bieber’s “No No Better”, Young Thug’s “Litty” and BRS Kash’s “Throat Baby”.
Last month, DaBaby was also announced as one of the 2021 headliners for JAY-Z’s Made in America festival alongside Justin Bieber.
The Philadelphia event is making a comeback this year as it was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
