Former “Dances with Wolves” actor Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse, who goes by Nathan Chasing Horse, was arrested Tuesday by Las Vegas police in connection with allegations of sexual abuse spanning two decades, the Associated Press reported. Arrested after raiding the house.
According to police records obtained by AP, Chasing Horse, now allegedly the leader of a cult known as The Circle, is accused of sexually abusing young local girls.

According to the AP, Las Vegas police have identified at least six alleged victims.
In addition, the department uncovered sex allegations against the actor in the early 2000s in several states, including Montana, South Dakota, and Nevada, where he has lived for nearly 10 years.
Chase Horse is also accused of recording sexual assaults and arranging sex with victims for men who allegedly paid him. He gained a reputation as a “medicine man” among tribes throughout the United States and Canada who performed healing ceremonies and spiritual gatherings.
He allegedly used his position to abuse Native American girls.

Although the warrant includes details of crimes reported elsewhere, the arrest stems from crimes allegedly committed in Clark County, Nevada. These include sex trafficking, sexual assault on a child under the age of 16 and child abuse.
Some of the alleged victims were under the age of 13, according to the warrant. One of Chasing Horse’s wives was allegedly given to him as a “gift” at the age of 15, while the other became a wife when she was 16.

He was also removed from the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana in 2015 after allegations of human trafficking emerged, the AP reported.
The case against the actor comes at a time when state attorneys general and lawmakers across the country are trying to create special units to handle cases of indigenous women and girls.
In South Dakota, the AG’s office announced a new focus on crimes against Native American people, including human trafficking and murder.

Chasing Horse was born on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, home to the Skango Sioux, one of the seven tribes of the Lakota Nation.
As of Tuesday evening, court records did not list an attorney available for comment on his behalf.
