“Danger!” fans can watch a new competition in 2023 with familiar faces.
The show announced that its former “Junior Tournament” contestants would be returning for the “High School Reunion Tournament”.
The tournament reunites 27 former competitors from the Junior Tournament for a new twist on the Collegiate National Championship format.
Young contestants, currently undergrads or fresh out of college, compete for a $100,000 grand prize and a ticket to the Tournament of Champions over a 14-day event.
This format will have nine quarter-finals, three semi-finals and a two-day aggregate points final.
“We didn’t want to lose that college energy [this season]”, executive producer Michael Davis announced on Monday’s episode “Danger Within!” podcast. “We knew we had 27 college-age players who were our existing ‘Jeopardy!’ community, so this was a great opportunity to give back to them. “
Some former participants include Season 35 Junior Tournament I champion Claire Sattler, now attending Yale University, and Junior Tournament II champion Avi Gupta, currently attending Stanford University.
Other participants include Justin Bolsen, a freshman at Brown University; Maggie Brown, a student at the University of West Florida; Tim Cho, senior at Columbia University; Jack Izzo, a senior at Northwestern University; Jackson Jones, junior at Vanderbilt University; Rohan Kapileshwari, a senior at the University of Texas at Austin; and Shriya Yarlagadda, a sophomore at Harvard University.

News “Danger!” comes after On November 21, Amy announced Schneider as the winner of the Tournament of Champions. She became the first openly transgender player to compete in the tournament and won the $250,000 top prize.
“Danger! High School Reunion Tournament” will air from February 20th to March 9th.
