Daniel Craig says ‘Casino Royale’ plot point convinced him to play James Bond once again


Daniel Craig reveals his own rumor casino Royale That’s partly what inspired him to play 007 for the last time.

James Bond actor, who appeared as Britain’s famous fictional detective no time to die This autumn, he said in a new interview that his idea for the new film is a direct conclusion of events seen in his first Bond film, casino Royale (2006) helped him decide to reprise his role.

They told sports radar: “We started talking about it and I went, ‘There may be a story that we need to end here – something we started at the casino [Royale]. something to do with Vesper [Eva Green’s character], and the dark shadow, and something that was kind of connected.’ It started taking shape. And I thought, ‘Here we go.'”

Craig said other factors played a part in influencing his decision, such as his family. “I thought maybe I wasn’t physically able to do the second one. For me, it was so cut and dry that I wasn’t going to come back,” he said.

After a two-year break, however, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson approached him and realized that he had changed his opinion on the matter.

“I went and did other things. I have had some separation. My family forgives me for being away from home for so long,” he said.

In other Bond news, former 007 star Pierce Brosnan has said that Tom Hardy and Idris Elba are suitable for the role after Craig.

“Idris Elba comes to mind,” he added people last month. “Idris has such a powerful presence and such great pre-voice tension. That would be fantastic. There’s Tom Hardy in there too. Tom can really chew on furniture, just be a ball boy—both men can.”
