Looks like there’s no love lost between Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and the wife of Texans owner Cal McNair.
Before Sunday’s Browns-Texans game in Houston — Watson returned to play his former team in his first regular-season game in 700 days — Hannah McNair seemed to openly ignore the quarterback as she approached him and his husband.
In pregame videos, Hanna can be seen turning her back on Watson as he runs across the field for a half-hug and handshake with McNair. The couple stood by Watson’s current boss, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.

Watson was sloppy in his Browns debut, rushing for 131 yards. It was Watson’s first game since serving an 11-game suspension for sexual assault allegations by more than two dozen women. Watson also paid a $5 million fine as part of the discipline.

Sunday’s game was Watson’s first since 2020. He was asked to leave Houston in January 2021 and sat out last season as the NFL investigated the allegations.
Watson was traded from the Texans to the Browns in March, signing the Cleveland quarterback to a five-year, fully guaranteed $230 million contract.
The Browns visit the Bengals on Sunday.
