Deshaun Watson’s girlfriend Jilly Anais watches the controversial QB’s Browns debut


Deshaun Watson’s longtime girlfriend showed support for the Browns quarterback on Sunday in his NFL comeback.

Jilly Anais, who has been linked with the signal caller since 2019, attended the Browns’ Week 13 game against Watson’s former team, the Texans, in Houston. 11 week suspension after being accused of sexual misconduct by more than a quarter of two dozen massage therapists.

Anais took to Instagram earlier in the day to give fans a glimpse of her glamorous pre-match routine. From there, he and loved ones headed to NRG Stadium, where the group — all wearing Watson’s No. 4 Browns jersey — watched the game.

Watson spent four seasons with the Texans, who selected him 12th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. Watson asked the Texans to trade In January 2021 and two months later, he hit with allegations of sexual assault, with pleadings against the defender.

Watson sat out the entire 2021 NFL season and was traded in March 2022 to the Browns, who signed him to a five-year contract worth $230 million fully guaranteed.

Ahead of the 2022 season, the NFL and the NFL Players Association reached an agreement to punish Watson. suspended him for the first 11 games of the season, along with a $5 million fine. Watson, who has settled 23 civil lawsuits, has maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal.

Before taking his first snap on Sunday, Watson received a standing ovation from Texans fans. As for his actual performance, Watson turned in a memorable outing, completing 12 of 22 attempts for 131 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception in the Browns’ 27-14 victory.

After the match, Watson was asked if he “regretted the behavior that got you suspended”. For Pro Football Talkto which the quarterback responded, “Like I said before, it’s a legal and clinical response and they don’t want me to address that.

“Of course, this is a difficult situation. It was hard to stop. But at the same time, my main focus today as a player was to try to be 1-0.”

Cleveland improved to 5-7 on the season and faces the Bengals (8-4) next Sunday.
