Multiple sources have confirmed Bob Saget’s death by declaring he died at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.

The sheriff’s department and fire department responded to the hotel around 4pm ET, after the hotel security found Saget was unresponsive in his room.

The cause of his death has not yet been determined and Covid has not been cited.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office took over Twitter To announce his death, write: “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, for a call about a man who did not respond in a hotel room.

“The man has been identified as Robert Saget and has been pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have not found any signs of foul play or drug use in the case,” the tweet concluded.

The actor and comedian was touring around the country, stopping at several locations in Florida in the weeks leading up to his death – leading to speculation he might have caught the disease.

Earlier in the day, Saturday, January 8, 2022, he performed at a show in Jacksonville – where he thanked his “fans” online.
