Lauren Hashian, wife of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, sang the national anthem in front of thousands at a packed SoFi Stadium during Sunday’s NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks.
Johnson proudly watched Hashian perform with her and Hashian’s two daughters, Jasmine and Tiana. The ‘Black Adam’ actor took to Instagram to share his feelings about the emotional moment.
“Holding my babies and watching their mom @laurenhashianofficial sing the National Anthem in front of 70,000 people at @sofistadium will always be one of the greatest and most moving moments of my life,” Johnson wrote on Instagram. Video of three people watching Hashian.

“As a father, holding our little ones in this momentous moment touched my heart because I could literally feel the proud energy and vibe of their mom singing – they felt it,” the actor continued.
“At this age, they don’t understand how much this moment means to our family and how much the words of this song mean to our great country and every American in it. It’s my job to explain that and teach them one day. As their father, I can’t wait.” ,” the actor wrote. “Man, you can feel the MANA in the air when Lauren sings it.”
Johnson concluded his post by sharing how excited he was to hear his wife sing the powerful lyrics of the folk song.

“Good thing I got my glasses on, because Lauren came around the corner and said, ‘…proving we’ve had our flag all night.’ Home of the Brave…” and I looked down and saw my girls with their hands over their hearts…that was it for me. My dad is done,” Johnson explained in the post.
“Congratulations to my beautiful wife Lauren on this amazing career milestone and an American honor. You are a true superstar in our family,” The Rock concluded his post.
Johnson and Hashian first met while filming Game Plan in 2006, and began dating the following year. The two got married in August 2019. Their eldest daughter Yasemin was born in December 2015, and their youngest Tiana was born in April 2018.
Before Lauren Hashian, Dwayne Johnson was married to Dani Garcia. Johnson and Garcia share a daughter, Simone.
