Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s mother was involved in a serious car crash in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, but survived what the actor is calling a miracle.
“Black Adam” star Posted a photo on Instagram. of a dented red Cadillac Escalade with heavy damage to the front passenger side. In a long caption, the actor thanked God that his mother is fine.
“Angels of mercy watched over my mom when she was in a car accident last night,” Johnson said.
The Escalade’s shell was cracked and crumpled, exposing the interior and an airbag that appeared to have deployed on the driver’s side.
Johnson, 50, said his mother would undergo further evaluation after the horrific accident.
“This woman has survived lung cancer, a tough marriage, a hit-and-run with a drunk driver and a suicide attempt,” she shared in the caption. “She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.”
The former pro wrestler thanked the Los Angeles police and fire departments for helping him and talking him through what happened over the phone.
He then offered some advice – asking others to embrace their parents.
“I’ve left one parent, so if you still get your mom and dad, make sure you give them a big hug, because you never know when you’re going to be at 3 in the morning,” Johnson said. When will we get the o’clock call, we never want,” Johnson said.
