Edge hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania, but it’s coming back. Rated R Superstar only signed a limited schedule for his return, but this return was largely in front of zero live fans. This may change very soon.
When Edge first signed WWE’s new contract, it was reported that he would earn $ 3 million a year and be paid in full, provided he struggled at least three times a year. He also plans to make 25 more appearances on WWE.
I’m sure Edge may have signed a heavier deal because he created so many TV episodes, even featured on NXT. We need to see what happens to the Edge, but it comes back.
The company has announced that Edge will be at Houston SmackDown. This could mean that he will be added to the new story. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Edge’s return to the blue brand seems to coincide with the SummerSlam game as well.
As Edge Houston was forced to return to the Smackdown and there was talk of returning the big names, his fight at SummerSlam seems to have intensified.
The company wants as many big names as they can get at SummerSlam. Brock Lesnar’s name is not currently being discussed, although it has appeared on his website. For Edge, the game could make a ton of sense and cancel out another mandatory look at Edge’s limited contract.
How do you feel about Edge running for a second time at WWE? Should the company make him a champion? Vote in the comments!
