Edward Mendy called FIFA for a massive mistake, one of 34 nominees who were impressed

Chelsea goalkeeper Edward Mendy has called on the FIFA World Cup social media team for a strange error in his latest Instagram posts.

The post in question shows five top-notch keepers playing in next year’s finals in Qatar, with Manuel Neuer and Gianluigi Donarumma joining Mendy.

However, while the other four keepers appear in their national team jerseys, Mendy’s image instead shows that they are under training.

The 29-year-old was upset over the little photo choice against Senegal, the country he represents.

Wave Lions It’s just a playoff game to reach next year’s World Cup, you wouldn’t know it from FIFA’s post.

You can see Mendy’s answer in the tweet below.

In his Instagram story, the former Rennesse player directly tagged the FIFA World Cup account: “2 days I’m looking at this post and trying to understand why but I still don’t understand.”

“Is it normal for me to be alone without my country’s Senegal jersey? Is it fair for Senegal?”

Whether this particular gaff is intentional or not remains to be seen. At least this reveals a lack of awareness of FIFA, but on the other end of the spectrum, this could be another bad example of in-game prejudice.
