Bruno Fernandez has been branded “embarrassing” by Bruno Fernandez for his response to Manchester United fans beating Ole Gunnar Soulsjear after their humiliating defeat at Watford.
Soulsjer was buzzed when he brought his then-players to a fan traveling on Vicarage Road on Saturday.
However, asking Fernandez fans not to blame Soulsjer was not right with Premier League legend Shearer, who smashed his gesture.
Speaking about the match of the day through Football 365, he said: “It’s very embarrassing for Bruno Fernandes because he got the chance to save the manager’s back in the show he played.
“So, they say, ‘Don’t just blame the manager, don’t blame all the players.’ [blame] It is clear from the behavior, not from their performance, that the players do not want managers because of them. “
Shearer continued to claim that Man United players had “stopped running for their manager” and had “lost respect for him”.
“They’ve stopped running for their manager,” he said. “They have lost respect for the manager and you have a player coming out and saying, ‘They didn’t know what to do with the ball.’
“Well, it will be on the manager’s feet because it has no plan, no strategy.
“But players can go out, players can run around, they can have effort, they can have attitude and they have none.
“So it tells you what they think of the manager.”
Man United have officially dismissed Soldiers before the Red Devils’ Champions League match against Villarreal next Tuesday.
