Rogers wore a lehenga, a two-piece cut-out blouse and a long skirt, usually worn with a long scarf called a dupatta, according to Indian clothing rental website Borrow the Bazaar.

According to the wedding website Brides.com, many Indian brides wear red to their weddings because red is symbolic in India as the color of passion, prosperity and new beginnings.

In India, white is usually associated with funerals, so it is not usually worn at weddings.
