Fans Respond to Taylor Swift’s New Madame Tussauds Waxwork

Fans have shared their thoughts on Taylor Swift’s new Madame Tussauds waxwork at Dubai Museum.

Madame Tussauds Dubai has added a new ‘Mastermind’ to its gallery and yesterday (November 6) unveiled a new model of Swift that references the era of her ‘Folklore’ album.

The hand-made sculpt is Swift’s and looks like the type of low, chignon bun she’s featured in some of her “Folklore” music videos, including “Cardigan.” Holding an acoustic guitar, the wax figure wears a red sequined turtleneck tucked into high-waisted khaki pants.

Fans had mixed feelings about the new wax. While many noted that it was an improvement over previous iterations in other waxworks museums, they agreed that it did not fully represent Swift’s likeness.

One person wrote on social media: “Why is it so hard to make Taylor’s wax figures look like her? I mean, it’s not as bad as the others, but still.

Another said: “I’m sick of these wax figures, but at least it’s better than normal.”

However, some were not impressed at all. “Didn’t @TussaudsUSA see what Taylor Swift looks like or is that ‘it’s just Ashley’ girl making wax figures of her?!😭.”

“Someone stop making wax figures of them please,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, a signed guitar from Swift’s ‘Midnights’ recording sessions is being auctioned in aid of war veterans.

The acoustic guitar, which features a photo of the singer-songwriter while recording his latest album, currently has seven bids, with the latest at $4,500 (£3,708). You can bid on the item Here.

The Raven Drum Foundation’s second annual 12 Drummer Auction runs through Monday (Dec. 12), featuring some of music’s most influential artists to raise vital funds for veterans and first responders dealing with PTSD and trauma. merges the list. Billboard.
