After Week 13 of the fantasy football season, here are some quick forwards and waiver tips for several notable players:
Recruiting to learn
Zonova Knight RB, Jets
It’s a week late because we thought James Robinson was going to be in a major role. We no longer have that confidence. With Michael Carter on the sidelines, we like Knight.
DeeJay Dallas RB, Seahawks
Rashaad Penny and Travis Homer were already out. Then rookie Kenneth Walker suffered an ankle problem on Sunday. If he misses time, expect Dallas to lead a doubleheader with Tony Jones Jr.
DJ Chark WR, Lions
Detroit’s offense is booming, and with Chark looking 100 percent again, he should provide enough production to warrant an occasional fantasy start as Amon-Ra St. Brown’s understudy.
Greg Dulcich TE, Broncos
In the 13th week (8) falls on Monday. With that kind of size, he can produce even in the rarest version of Russell Wilson as a QB.
Promote from within
Geno Smith QB, Seahawks
The Seattle running back is now the most dangerous job in America, and expect the Seahawks to lean more heavily on the passing game. Thus, the Great Geno Awakening will be more “awakening”.
Brian Robinson RB, Commanders
Washington has a bye next week, but we like the volumes we’ve seen from Robinson recently. Reminds us of James Conner: not that flashy, but enough to produce given enough of a chance.
AJ Dillon RB, Packers
Aaron Jones had a good game while dealing with a shin problem. If that problem continues into the upcoming bye week, we’re open to starting Dillon, even against a relatively strong Rams D.
Cam Akers RB, Rams
Akers has been the heir to the starting role at various times and has been pushed off the bench. Now it’s back to working with our feelings and lists. The next two weeks get a bad run defense – the Raiders and the Packers.
