A Florida man faced multiple charges after allegedly driving through a security gate at a Tampa-area airport and entering the cockpit of a Coast Guard C-130 airplane, officials said.
Hamilton Moreno, 36, has been charged with stalking a runway in a vehicle before 5 a.m. at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

The Sheriff’s Department said Moreno was arrested after crashing through a Coast Guard security gate, leaving the car in a hangar and boarding an empty C-130.
The suspect was booked in the Pinellas County Jail on charges of escaping and escaping, trespass, grand theft auto, habitual traffic offender, theft, and two counts of criminal mischief.
His bond was set at $24,150.
