Former Brazilian striker Adriano Ribeiro and his wife Micaela Mesquita have separated after 24 days of marriage.
Ribeiro, 40, is said to have spent two days in Vila Cruzeiro, where he went to watch a match between Brazil and Switzerland, before returning home to 25-year-old Mesquita.
The couple are said to have had a pre-planned celebration with family and friends over the weekend following their split.
Meanwhile, Mesquita, who works as a hairdresser, seems to have erased it all Instagram Photos with the former star of “Inter”. They are believed to have broken up and dated five more times.
Ribeiro and Mesquita tied the knot earlier last month they took a selfie together holding what appeared to be a marriage license.
Ribeiro retired from football in 2016, a few months after signing with Miami United of the National Premier League.

Ribeiro led Brazil to the 2004 Copa America and won the Golden Boot as the competition’s top scorer with seven goals in Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence.
