Former WWE NXT star Stallion Rogers conveys previous transphobic comments

Stallion Rogers, formerly Kurt Stallion on NXT, has been hitting the indie wrestling scene ever since the release of NXT. When the old comments he made in the podcast came to light, he made a huge roadblock. Those transphobic comments were shared around, and Rogers began to lose opportunities. Now they are addressing the situation.

Rogers released a video commentary on past comments he made on the podcast. He admitted that he was stupid and seemed incredibly sincere in his apology.

I’ve been told, some time ago I said some stupid transphobic sh * t on the podcast that I should never say. It took me a few days to solve the problem at hand, because I really had to move back and think about myself, or not ever.

The way I made people feel about what I said was disgusting to me. I don’t want to be that person, nor do I ever want to be that person. So, I sincerely apologize if anyone is hurt by what I said.

Rogers said he would donate a percentage of his proceeds from each indie show to the National Center of Trans Equality for the remainder of 2021. They hope to learn from this experience and grow from it.

It was a very short video message, but he made his point very well. You can check it out below.
