During the episode “Mad Money” of Season 1, Joy’s mother received a $5,000 savings bond in her name. He spent it on gifts for the girls and instead of paying for a decade-old loan to Danny Tanner, he bought his best friend a lifetime pass to the Great American Amusement Park.
