A new photo shows slain Long Islander Gabby Petto with a bloodied face just weeks before she was beaten on an ill-fated cross-country trip with her then-fiancé and killer Brian Laundry. had gone.

Laundrey, who drove home alone in Petito’s van to her parents’ home in Northport, Florida on September 1, later went missing and was found dead in a nearby swamp on October 20 with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Police also found a handwritten confession of killing Petto.
The story of her disappearance captivated the nation – as Laundry’s body was discovered amid scattered reports of her alleged abuse before it was found.
Petito documented the trip on Instagram with a digital diary of the trek that masked the stress the couple was quickly sinking into.
The new photo has exposed the extent of Petite’s turmoil during the trip.
Petito’s parents are now suing Laundrez’s parents in Florida, accusing them of intentionally withholding information about their daughter’s death.
Gabby, of Blue Point, last spoke to her family on August 25, 2021. A pair of YouTubers later spotted his 2021 Ford Transit van near Grand Teton two days later.
His mother, Nicole Schmidt, reported him missing on Sept. 11, several days before Laundry was identified as a person of interest.
