Harry and Meghan’s approval ratings in Britain have plummeted after the Netflix docu-series.


Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s popularity has plummeted in the UK since the debut of their new Netflix documentary, according to a new poll.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s approval rating among British adults dropped by six and three points, respectively, when Netflix’s Harry and Meghan premiered on Netflix, a YouGov poll found.

The documentaries will take a closer look at the couple’s life with the royal family, and will tell the story of Harry and Meghan’s strained relationship with other British royals. The series rubbed many British viewers the wrong way.

The royal couple was already in negative approval territory ahead of the first three episodes of the series on the streaming platform on December 8.

According to the November survey, 60% of them have a negative opinion of Meghan and 52% of Harry. A YouGov poll conducted on December 7 and 8 found that 64 percent had a negative opinion of Markle, while 59 percent had a negative opinion of Harry. Dislike was particularly strong among older Britons, with 79 and 84 percent having an unfavorable view of Harry and Meghan respectively.

Only 33 percent of the public had a positive opinion of Harry, and 25 percent of Markle.

On the contrary, Prince William and Kate Middleton are very popular in Britain. According to the same poll, 77% of the population likes the Prince of Wales, while 15% do not.

Meghan and Harry’s documentary has received a lot of criticism since its trailer debuted on December 1. British journalist Piers Morgan said the trailer made the couple look like “two poisonous rats”.abolishing the monarchy.”

Several panelists in America ABC’s The View” expressed no interest in the project, with co-creators Ana Navarro and Joy Behar saying they were tired of seeing the two play the victim card about their dealings in the royal family.

During the show, Behar asked, “Do we really not care?” he asked.

Radio host Howard Stern recently claimed the couple “go out like that“in their series.
