Atlanta Hawks announcer Bob Rathbun suffered a horrific medical emergency while on the air.
Before Monday night’s game against the Thunder, Rathbun collapsed as color commentator Dominique Wilkins spoke.
In a statement to The Post, the Hawks said Rathbun, 68, was dehydrated and “stable and responsive” during further treatment.
“Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun was briefly passed out on the court before tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder,” the statement read. “There, paramedics quickly treated Rathbun for dehydration. He is stable, responsive, and headed to Emory Midtown for further evaluation.
