Hulk Hogan was photographed using a walking stick after shutting down reports that he was paralyzed following back surgery.
The WWE legend, 69, held a cane in his right hand as he left the DMV in Clearwater, Fla., on Friday.
He used the cane to help him walk from the DMV to his car. At one point, however, he paused to wave at a fan and transferred it to his left hand – barely holding onto it.
Hulk’s son, Nick Hogan, joined his father for the task after seeing the license plate as well as other DMV paperwork.
The father-son duo showed some love to each other as they embraced before fleeing together in a truck.
Hogan – whose real name is Terry Jean Boleya – kept his work attire casual in a black graphic T-shirt, dark blue jeans, black boots, black sunglasses and, of course, his signature bandana.
The outing marks the first time Hogan has been photographed since his rep clarified to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday that “everything is fine with him” following his surgery.
This explanation came after fellow WWE pro Kurt Angle claimed that Hogan could not feel below his waist.
“Hogan had back surgery,” he said Sunday on his podcast, “The Kurt Angle Show.” “He had nerves cut from his lower body. He can’t feel his lower body. So let’s use his cane to get around. I thought he was using a cane because his back I was in pain. He has no pain. He has nothing. He can’t feel anything.”
Angle, 54, claimed that Hogan’s health was “pretty serious” because he “can’t feel his legs” and “has to walk with a cane.”
“I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and ate it up,” Angle continued.
